Sounds Like Fun Music Makers for Growing Minds are a hit! Attendees at the 2006 American Specialty Toy Retailing Association Marketplace in Atlanta got their first chance to play with Sounds Like Fun products and they were thrilled! Independent Specialty Toy Store representatives from across the U.S. discovered first-hand what sets Sounds Like Fun music makers apart from other children’s toys. Sounds Like Fun announces the first six music makers for growing
minds. These unique musical instruments include ergonomically
and educationally designed hand percussion items and other
developmentally
appropriate rhythmic and tonal instruments.
The first six Sounds Like Fun music makers are:
- Drip, Drop, Jingle,
Jangle: For infants older than 3 months, a set of two
high-contrast instruments: a black-and-white rainmaker and
bell shaker.
- Rhythm 'n' Coos: A set
of three rhythm instruments for infants older than six months.
It includes a ratchet, a maraca and chime bells.
- Glockentoddler: A musically
correct glockenspiel, similar to a xylophone, designed with
round corners and edges for safe play.
- A-B-C Clappers 3: Three
different castanets, each a different shape, color, and
tone, with painted numbers and letters for basic learning.
- Shake, Rattle and
Drum: Made for ages 3 and up, includes natural wood
drum with toddler-sized sticks, a castanet, two mini-maracas
and a tambourine stick.
- Shake 'n' Strum: For
ages 2 and older, a violin-shaped wood shaker that also
includes an attached "bow scraper" that can create
a rasping sound on raised ridges.
This is the first series of instruments in the Sounds LIke
Fun line of music makers for growing minds. Additional children's
instruments will be introduced in 2006.
